About Spark IT - Season 02
Igniting ICT Literacy Across Sri Lanka
Spark IT - Season 02 is the most ambitious student-led ICT literacy initiative ever undertaken in Sri Lankan educational history—a groundbreaking program designed to transform over 11,000 students across the nation from passive technology consumers into active digital innovators and leaders.
Initially launched in collaboration with the ICT Club of Girls' High School Kandy (KGHSICT), Spark IT - Season 02 has now evolved and expanded. The project is now jointly organized by the Royal College Computer Society (RCCS) and the Vishaka Vidyalaya ICT Society (VVICTS), strengthening our gender-inclusive approach through strategic industry partnerships with ICTA, RAM Studios, and leading technology companies.
Through Spark IT - Season 02 Flash online sessions and Spark IT - Season 02 Fusion school visits, we're igniting ICT literacy nationwide—spanning from Jaffna to Galle, uniting urban and rural institutions in a shared technological vision.
